Consent Is the Architecture
Most rooms hope for good behavior. We build for it.
Everything beautiful about a VLVT evening rests on a single foundation: every interaction is invited. Not assumed, not implied by an outfit or a glance or the fact of being in the room. Invited, in words.
How it works in practice. A verbal yes precedes a touch — every touch, every time, with every person. Attendance is not consent. A dance is not consent to what follows the dance. A yes earlier in the evening is not a yes now. And a yes to one thing is not a yes to the next thing; escalation is asked for, plainly, in words. This sounds formal until you experience it, at which point it reveals itself as the opposite: the most relaxed room you have ever stood in, because no one is guessing.
